On Columbus day, The Hubby and I took the kiddos for a drive through the countryside near our home. The foliage was nearly at its peak...it was breathtaking. I just thought I'd share a few pictures from our drive. They don't do the beauty justice, but it gives you a little idea. New England autumns are amazing!
Thanks to Kim at Simple Needs for this award!

Ugh! I am so jealous! In Phoenix, fall colors means the grass stops being so brown from the heat! Gorgeous photos! Collect a few leaves in honor of those of us who can't. *sniff**sniff*
Beautiful fall colors!!! We don't get anything even close to that here.
What gorgeous fall color!! It looks like we're going to have a beautiful fall here in Alabama, too, but here the leaves are just starting to turn.
I have honestly never see anything like that but it really makes me want to plan a trip next year to experience such beauty.
Hey big sis-
Your starting to depress me with all of your unbelievably gorgeous fall colors. We have a bit of orange and brown here with all of the dried up grass. :)
Congrats on the award!!
Just beautiful. Ours are at peak yet. What a great way to spend a fall day.
I love spending weekends driving around during fall. And yes, your hubby took some awesome photos! Our trees have just begun to change here, can you believe it? :)
WOW....just GORGEOUS!!!! Congratulations on your award!
Absolutely beautiful! I want to take a drive on those roads too! :)

Living in FL, I have to enjoy those beauties through photographs...Thank you so much for sharing...Just beautiful! Congrats on your award!
Oh the colors are gorgeous! Ours should be doing that pretty soon. :)
This makes me miss my homestate - Pennsylvania. The trees are so gorgeous there. I'm living in Canada now and while there are lots of trees - nothing beats PA in my mind. Thanks for reminding me of home.
Wow! The pictures are AMAZING! It is just what I needed to see today. I hope to see beauty like that in person one day. I live in California and there is nothing like that here. I am actually off to make some pumpkin bread now due to the fabulous inspiration. Thanks so much for sharing.

Hi! I stumbled upon your blog and wanted to tell you how much I'm enjoying it. The fall foliage photos are incredible. I've decided to make my own "literary pumpkin" after seeing yours. I have NO fall decorations and need to fix this. It's strange that I don't either since Fall is my favorite season. Thank you for all the wonderful ideas.
GORGEOUS scenery! I wish I had land and trees like that near where I live! You should print out and frame these because they are really beautiful.
Those fall colours are so gorgeous! You are inspiring me to go for a drive soon because the colours are out in my neck of the woods too!
Congratulations on your award!
WOW! So jealous it hurts! The pictures look like paintings....I can't imagine that landscape! Enjoy, you lucky lady. No fall here in Houston. I guess that is nature's gift to you before she freezes your tail off! Ha Ha!
Julie...amen to that one. I have to really enjoy fall here in New England...because I hate the winters ;-)
The changing leaves are seriously my favorite part about living in NY. Ours are actually starting to fall now so we don't have as much color in the trees, but the ground is literally covered. Beautiful pictures!
